1. Login to XP or Win2000 workstation in the school campus with the login name and password printed at the back of your student ID card. Suppose ym46lee is the login name.
1. Make a directory public_html under your home directory K:\
2. You could also make subdirectory temp under K:\public_html\
3. Copy any file(s), e.g. K:\myself.html, to K:\public_html\temp\
4. These copied files will be shown at http://acad.wyk.edu.hk/~ym46lee/temp/
2. If you are outside the school campus and would like to access your K: . We recommend that you download WinSCP at http://winscp.sourceforge.net/eng/ . At the time of this writing, the version is WinSCP 3.5.6.
1. In the WinSCP login screen, type acad.wyk.edu.hk in the Host Name field. Key in the login anme and password printed at the back of your student ID card to key under the User name and Password fields. 
2. If you would like to change your password, your have to make use a secure shell such as putty at http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/
3. Replace username in username@acad.wyk.edu.hk by the login name under the Host name (or IP address) field . 
4. Key in your password from the back of your student ID card and welcome to our Debian linux shell. Use the command passwd to change your password.
